Many people love the look of NEW Makeup Trends, but I must say I was a little underwhelmed. The trend seems to fall flat when you've done a really good job of your eyebrows and have really done your lip and eye makeup perfectly.

When I first started shopping for makeup the NEW Makeup Trend was looking great, especially the glossy lipsticks with the sparkly, beautiful eyeshadow on them. I never thought that I would be disappointed and so I stopped looking and the real nail polish trend took over.

The MAC ladies are now claiming that the NEW Makeup Trend is dead. Well, I must admit I was surprised when they said that. When I heard that the NEW Makeup Trend was just dead in the water the nail polish clique called me a fool, but they were wrong!

Now you can buy NEW lipsticks and eye shadows, NEW nail polish and lots of other goodies that make the makeup look quite fabulous. I'm also getting into the NEW Makeup Trend and not being a NEW fanatic I can certainly see the appeal.

It is true that NEW nail polish and NEW eyeliner are not really NEW makeup and it is not really nail polish, but it looks like NEW nail polish. The big thing about NEW nail polish is that it is matte so it does not come out shiny and glistening. The NEW makeup trend is about less shine, more matte and less glitter.

Lipsticks also tend to work best on neutral skin tones as lipsticks are a little too strong on tanned skins. NEW lipsticks and NEW eyeshadows are a lot easier to use for such colors as copper, brown, golden or gray. Most NEW lipsticksare quite sheer and you don't want to use anything close to a FULL coverage product.

Another reason to be looking at the NEW eyeliner is that when used properly it works wonders for your eyebrows and your eyes. Eyeliner is easily smudged, so make sure you choose a pencil eyeliner that won't smudge if you happen to have any stray hairs on your brows or eyelashes.

NEW mascara and eye shadow also do wonders for making your makeup look fuller and more defined. I have noticed that the new make up trends are a lot easier to apply than they used to be. You also get fabulous results.

New mascaras have been designed to make the mascara look different as well as a little bit more sophisticated and yet just as glamorous as it used to be. If you want to get a super hot look, try applying a MINI water and very dark black mascara to your upper lashes. The dark, glossy look will bring the eye up and make your eye look more intense and powerful.

You can do the same thing with a GOOD eye shadow to enhance your eyes, by blending well and by applying a nice deep shade of color. With a touch of a NEW mascara, a NEW cream shadow and a NEW smoky eye you are ready to go.
